The Trump-Vance campaign announced the event in a press release, criticizing Harris-Biden administration’s handling of inflation and the southern border, which the campaign said “has devastated Pennsylvania.”

The City of Reading alerted the public to road closures and parking restrictions ahead of the rally, noting that portions of Cherry and Penn Streets closed at 8 a.m. and stayed closed throughout the day.
