TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – On Saturday, the Terre Haute Pride Center hosted its 3rd annual Pride Fest at Indiana State University.

Over 100 vendors were there, including LGBTQ+ friendly businesses and community organizations. There was also a lineup of 20 local performers, a drag show, and age-friendly activities.

The president of the Pride Center says it’s great to see the support.

“Today is really about celebrating, and celebrating all of the people that came before us and champion our rights and made way for us to improve our living conditions and quality of life,” said Katie Lugar, president of Terre Haute Pride Center.

Students were also able to participate in a campus visit at ISU. This gave visitors a chance to learn more about ISU’s LGBTQ resources.
