OKOBOJI (KTIV) – An organization in the Iowa Great Lakes is expanding its mission and is looking for volunteers. The Spirit of Okoboji was founded with a drive to foster unity.
As part of that mission, they have established the Okoboji Music Masters, Lakes Area Museum Alliance, Friends of Abbie Gardner Cabin Historic Site, and OkoboTree.
But their efforts to enrich the Okoboji community don’t stop there.
“So, we have four key endeavors, and one new endeavor coming,” sats Drew Hage, Director of Development for the Spirit of Okoboji. “Lots of exciting things there. But really wanting to look at investing in the area and creating new partnerships and seeing what we can put together.”
With their expansion, The Spirit of Okoboji is looking for help. So, they have announced an open call for additional members to join their Board of Directors.
