CHICO, Calif. – The Salvation Army community center in Chico hosted their annual community Thanksgiving meal. Lieutenant Jeff Boyd, the Pastor, and the administrator for the Salvation Army said they anticipated 300 people to attend for meals.
At 2:30 pm he says the line was out the door with people wanting to get their bellies full.
Boyd says the event was open to anybody in the community and he says this event is all about bringing the community together and ensuring everyone is fed this Thanksgiving.
