The number of employers that have embraced AI in Ireland [Video]

Over one in four employers in Ireland uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help them in their recruitment process, a new report has found, writes Ian Begley.

Companies have quickly adapted to the rapid advancement of AI, using it to aid them in essential tasks. Hiring platform IrishJobs.ie has revealed 28% of Irish employers are now using the technology to find new talent.

As part of a report that highlighted the rapidly growing impact of AI tools and technologies on the landscape of this sector in Ireland, the company surveyed recruitment decision-makers in 250 businesses.

Its findings show 56% of firms that have introduced AI to recruitment have done so in the past year.

Medium-sized businesses have the highest levels of AI adoption in recruitment (38%) indicating their status as an early adopter of the technology.

Only 13% of small businesses have incorporated the technology in recruitment.
