On the third weekend of September, in Collinsville, everyone is just a little bit Italian. Since 1984, the community has honored their Italian heritage and culture with the two-day festival and parade.
“There’s a very strong Italian population of immigrants. So, it’s just natural to have this kind of event for Collinsville,” says Mayor Jeff Stehman.
