SIOUX CITY — To aid Siouxland residents in recovering from the horrific flooding that’s overtaken the region all week long, a number of charitable efforts are underway throughout the tri-state area.
Tuesday, Ag Processing Inc., a soybean processor, donated $50,000 to the Siouxland Recovery Fund for flood assistance. The board for that fund includes representatives from The United Way, The Siouxland Community Foundation, city and county emergency management, Red Cross, Salvation Army, Community Organizations Active in Disasters and other community leaders throughout the region.
Funds will be disbursed to qualifying non-profit 501 (c) (3) organizations and public agencies.
