MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) -The Carter Foundation hosted their Fright Night on 8th Street event Saturday evening.

From 4 pm until 6 pm, kids were able to come out in their Halloween costumes to enjoy candy stations, games, a haunted house, and entertainment.

The Carter Foundation is always hosting events to get kids in the community involved, and on Saturday, they did just that.

James Carter talks more about the importance of hosting events for the community.

“Just the day of unity, our mission is inspiring the youth from breaking unity. We do so by hosting free community events like this. You know, everybody comes out of fellowship and just has a great time.
