WESTON, Wis. (WSAW) – The Mountain Bay Metro Police Department hosted its annual Monster Bash Friday at D.C. Everest Middle School.
The station helped community members get into the spooky spirit through food, film, thirteen inflatable bounce houses, and live music that kept families entertained all night.
This Halloween season tradition has been a community staple for over 30 years, but this year was the first time the MBMPD collaborated with the D.C. Everest School District.
Though the event was free, this year, people were encouraged to bring change by donating to Peyton‘s Promise ’Change for a Change,’ an organization that serves as the bridge between food drives and organizations dedicated to fighting hunger.
“I was told they get a lot of donations of change which helps them buy meats for food pantries rather than all canned goods. they go out and they buy fresh meats for families in need,” Mountain Bay …
