Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck after two years of marriage on Aug. 20, 2024. She listed April 26, 2024, as the date of separation.
“She tried really hard to make things work, and is heartbroken,” a source told PEOPLE of Lopez following the filing.
