In April this year, NBA Africa announced a new initiative aimed at local startups called the Triple-Double: NBA Africa Startup Accelerator.
It called for applicants in its bid to identify the next generation of local tech entrepreneurs, as well as provide them with access to mentorship and capital within the sports and creative industries.
The application period has since closed, and now the organisation has announced the 10 startups that have been shortlisted ahead of a Demo Day taking place at the organisation’s headquarters in New York City.
