Texas police respond to Whataburger [Video]

SCHERTZ, Texas — A woman was hospitalized in “grave condition” after she was discovered shot in a vehicle outside a Schertz Whataburger on Wednesday, authorities said. 

The Schertz Police Department (SPD) said in a press release that it appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The unidentified victim was found “slumped over” in her car by officers responded to the restaurant along FM 3009, after they were directed to the vehicle by others at the scene shortly before 8 p.m. 

First responders took the woman to a local hospital. Authorities said there was no further threat to the public.
