CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Lawmakers are looking at giving more regulation when it comes to artificial intelligence through the filing of House Bill 1709.
The bill would do things like promote education on AI, ask companies to disclose when they are using it and provide clear guidelines on usage.
Straight Edge Technology President Douglas Miller said he’s seeing more businesses ask for advice on the use of artificial intelligence, especially as cyber security becomes more paramount.
“Lots of attacks come through email and the bad guys are using AI to make their emails better and more convincing,” he said.
