TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Terre Haute officials have released a report from the latest Community Engagement Workshop series.
The Terre Haute Human Relations Commission and Terre Haute Ten put on the workshop.
The workshop focused on four different areas; housing, employment, education, and criminal justice.
Among the challenges is a high rate of homelessness and a lack of affordable housing.
The Commission’s leader says she plans to meet with community partners about the report’s findings.
“We’re hoping that our government officials, such as the mayor and city council will start to take the ideas in here and start to implement them into changes that they are able to make,” said Anne-Therese Ryan.
