Temple-Belton Development Project brings 100+ jobs, higher wages [Video]

These businesses include an established preschool, a dog grooming facility, Safe Splash swim school, William Hoyt bagels and brew, and Burst Bowls.

TEMPLE, Texas — A wave of new businesses is set to open in the Temple-Belton area, bringing more than 100 jobs to the community.

“Temple-Belton is in need of great customer service-based industries,” said Tanner Lowry, the development’s owner. “We’re super excited to bring these services to the community.”

Beyond expanding local services, the development promises to create quality employment opportunities. The project will generate over 100 jobs, including 50 teaching positions at the preschool and 12-15 positions at each additional business.

What sets this development apart is its commitment to competitive wages. “Our heart is to pay these people 15 to 20% more,” Lowry explained. 

Safe Splash Swim School, one of the development’s cornerstone businesses, particularly emphasizes community impact. General Manager Ashley Major, a local mom, understands firsthand the importance of accessible swim lessons.
