Two 15-year-olds were arrested after a threat against Lawrence County High School on September 19.
LAWRENCE COUNTY, ALABAMA, Ala. — Two teens were arrested after a threat against Lawrence County High School on Thursday, September 19.
The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Moulton Police Department, Lawrence County School Board, and Juvenile Probation Office, initiated an investigation.
A 15-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy were detained and questioned before being placed in custody at 11 p.m.
Both teens face charges for making threats against the school and its staff. According to LCSO, they will remain in the custody of the Alabama Department of Youth Services.
Authorities reported that no firearms were found during the investigation, despite the threat involving a firearm.
