Police have arrested a man in connection with the suspicious death of a 15-year-old boy, whose body was found in bushland south-west of Sydney on Saturday morning.
Officers have yet to formally identify the body, found near Wilton Park Road, Wilton, at 7.25am. They believe it is that of a teenager local to the area and have notified his family.
“Following a public appeal for information, a 32-year-old man was arrested after presenting himself at Narellan police station shortly after 4pm,” NSW Police said in a statement on Saturday.
“No charges have yet been laid and inquiries are ongoing.”
At a press conference held an hour earlier, acting Superintendent Tim Calman told reporters that, while the death was being treated as suspicious, no suspects or possible motives had been identified.
