Teen Arrested After Dad is Fatally Shot During Argument [Video]

A 15-year-old was taken into custody in connection with the fatal shooting of his father in Las Vegas on Saturday.

The teenager “was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, open murder, and booked into the Clark County Juvenile Hall,” the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said in a press release.

In Nevada, open murder is a legal term covering possible charges ranging from first- and second-degree murder to voluntary and involuntary homicide. A more specific charge may follow.
