WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long fears that the promotion will waste Finn Balor, ahead of the Irish star’s World Heavyweight Championship shot this weekend.
Balor will challenge GUNTHER at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. On this week’s episode of WWE RAW, Damian Priest was added to the title match.
On a recent edition of the “Sportskeeda Backstage Pass” podcast, Long shared his thoughts on the reigning World Tag Team Champion. He said,
“Finn does a great job, and he’s been involved in a lot of good stuff. So we just never know. I hope so. I hope they’re not just wasting him, you know what I mean? I hope this kind of moves him up in the ranks.”
Balor recently marked a decade in WWE, where he is a multi-time tag-team and Intercontinental Champion, as well as a two-time NXT Champion.
