TDOT hosting info, feedback meetings on choice lanes [Video]

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) is sharing details about “choice lanes” and looking for the community’s feedback.

The choice lanes will span 26 miles of Interstate 24 between Nashville and Murfreesboro. They are two additional lanes in either direction that drivers can choose to travel on for a fee.

Bryan Ledford, executive director of public private partnerships with TDOT, said about every two miles, drivers will have the opportunity to join a choice lane. He said the fee to choose these lanes will change based on the volume of people on the road.
