Taste of Waterville returns for another year [Video]

WATERVILLE, Maine (WABI) – One of the biggest events in Waterville all year was held Wednesday.

The ‘Taste of Waterville’ featured live music, cornhole, special acts, and, of course, plenty of food trucks.

Put on by the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce, they have been planning the yearly event since December.

”This is what it’s about. It’s putting in the hours, putting in the time, and then seeing the people. You see the people coming in, it turns into thousands of people, and you see people that you haven’t seen since last year, and that’s the part I love the most, walking around, and you see someone running about to someone, and they give them a hug, and like ‘oh my God, I haven’t seen you since last year.’ It’s the best part of the event quite honestly,” said Chair of Taste of Waterville Shawn Michaud

The Chamber is putting on other events the rest of the year.
