Taste of Goodness event benefits Bishop Dudley [Video]

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Food, wine, beer and bourbon brought the community together over the weekend for a fun experience while helping out an important cause.

The 10th annual Taste the Goodness event took place on Saturday night at the Avera Tech building in downtown Sioux Falls.

The event was described as a night of flavor and fellowship as the proceeds benefit the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House.

The event is coordinated by the Catholic Community Foundation for Eastern South Dakota.

“They’ve done a lot of great things. They expanded their facilities for a second one to help families specifically. Now they have two facilities, and to staff it, the budget, all to continue to care for them,” said Catholic Community Foundation President and CEO Tony Menke. “So within this event, we have a silent auction item that has a component for the needs that they have specifically.
