The House task force assigned to look into the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump during a rally in Butler County, Pennsylvania, in July released its interim report on Monday morning.The shooting on July 13 injured Trump and two other men and killed Corey Comperatore, 50, of Sarver. The report included eight findings, showing what the task force described as gaps in communication between local law enforcement and Secret Service personnel.That included a lack of planning leading up to the rally, not having a unified command post and dedicated radio link and not having a joint meeting on the day of the rally.The report said the lack of communication led to critical pieces of information about suspected gunman Thomas Crooks’ whereabouts to move slowly among Secret Service and law enforcement personnel.The task force also found that the American Glass Research complex and the areas around it were not part …
