TARC seeks community feedback on redesigned transit system [Video]

The first of three public engagement rounds for residents to provide feedback on what TARC’s priorities should be with the updated network begins later this month.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Transit Authority of River City (TARC) is looking to redesign Louisville’s transit system and wants to know what the community believes its priorities should be.

TARC is launching a “new planning process and community conversation” project, called TARC 2025, to determine what the transit system should look like with its expected funding in the next five to 10 years.

The process is expected to be completed by next February, which is when final proposals for the redesigned TARC network will be released to the public.

Officials said the new network could be implemented as early as August 2025.
