During Texas A&M men’s basketball coach Buzz Williams’ press conference after the Aggies’ 78-64 win over Ohio State on Friday at Reed Arena, he read thoughts on a piece of paper from Halloween.
It read: “The beauty of life is that you get one lesson at a time. When you learn a lesson, you become wiser. If you don’t learn that lesson, you get the same lesson again presented differently until you learn it. Once you learn that lesson, the reward is that you get a new lesson.”
In the second half, the Buckeyes cut the Aggies’ lead to 11 with 9 minutes, 3 seconds to play. A&M led by 11 in its season-opening loss at Central Florida on Nov. 4 with 6:24 to go but squandered that lead in a 64-61 loss.
