CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Islander community will be coming together this coming week to honor the life of 21-year-old Caleb Harris. Harris was a student at A&M Corpus Christi and went missing March 4.
More than 4 months later his body was found at a wastewater station near Ennis Joslin Road.
The school has organized a “remembrance ceremony” on his birthday, which is next Tuesday September 24. It will be happening at the Hector P. Garcia building from 7 to 8 that evening.
The ceremony will be open to the public.
Stationary materials will be set up for those wanting to leave messages for the Harris family. Therapy dogs and counselors will also be in attendance to help talk with anyone still processing the tragic disappearance and death of the TAMU-CC student.
