TAIT showcases multi-year partnership with Virgin Voyages in new video | Local News

The next time you board a Virgin Voyages cruise ship, there is a good chance that you’ll experience some of the same Tait technology that powered Rihanna’s 2023 Super Bowl halftime show and Elton John’s “Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour.” 

Virgin Voyages will feature the Lititz-based live-event company’s Epiq technology to help power automation behind entertainment offered on four of the cruise line’s ships. 

“We really want to have a lot of immersive theatrical work, and the company we came to for that obviously is TAIT,” Regan Kelly, automation and fleet manager for Virgin Voyages, says in a video posted by TAIT on its YouTube channel. 

Equipment on the ships is specially outfitted to account for the particulars of each ship, down to the vibration of the engines, Hodgson said.
