Switchbacks look forward to Star Spangled Firework Spectacular [Video]

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – July 4th is a special time of year time to celebrate our country, freedom and switchbacks soccer. For the Switchbacks players and coaches this match on Independence Day means more.

“It’s amazing the July 4th game here is a whole event with fireworks and the stadium is packed It means something to the community so we’d like to give the crowd to have something to be happy about,” said Switchbacks goalie, Christian Herrera.

“People who are in the military they’re resilient people and we are privileged to be able to put on a show so when we’re in the building whether it be fourth of July or June 29th whatever we make sure we give back to the people paying to see us,” said head coach James Chambers.
