Sweet Reason Husband Reads ‘Emily in Paris’ Subtitles For Wife’Secret Fan’ [Video]

A man has delighted the internet with his thoughtful gesture that allows his wife to follow one of her favorite shows even when she’s occupied doing other things.

Millions of Netflix users have been gripped by the latest series of Emily in Paris, which was released in two parts across August and September. While many see it as a guilty pleasure to have on in the background, the French-speaking scenes with English subtitles require full attention for those who don’t speak the language. This was proving somewhat problematic for Kittsie Klaes of Houston, Texas, who owns a needlepoint shop and is usually busy creating new designs.

Fortunately, Klaes came up with a genius way to work around it, telling Newsweek that she “enlisted the help” of her husband Davis to read the subtitles out loud. That way, she doesn’t have to look up from her needlepoint but still gets to follow along with Emily Cooper’s latest antics.
