A superior court judge issued a preliminary injunction ordering the Mat-Su Borough School District return a portion of 56 books removed from library shelves before school starts on August 14. Seven of the 56 books were reviewed by a library advisory committee and determined to be age-inappropriate, but the rest were removed from student access without discussion.
