ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A man accused of shooting at officers and off the balcony at the Four Seasons hotel building in October was granted bond on Tuesday.
Jay Berger, 70, faces several charges — including six counts of aggravated assault against a law enforcement officer. He was previously denied bond in early November after being deemed a “significant danger to the community and victims,” court documents said.

On Tuesday, the court set a $101,000 bond for Berger with several restrictions. Those include:
- No weapons, drugs or alcohol
- To stay away from his condo and not contact the residential manager he allegedly pointed a gun at
- 24-hour house arrest, with the exception of legal and medical affairs and church on Sundays
- To wear an ankle monitor
- To undergo a psychological evaluation within 10 days of being released
