Voluntary Action Sheffield are to receive funding to improve support systems for frontline voluntary and community sector workers.
The work being done by Sheffield’s voluntary and community sector is invaluable. Everyday countless people across the city give up their time to run essential services and offer vital support for local people that simply wouldn’t happen without them.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, voluntary and community sector workers supported people and communities to deal with unprecedented issues and an increase in case complexity and workload has continued post-pandemic.
