(WALA) – We saw quite a bit of rain this morning, but things are looking better as we head into your Wednesday. Some of the highest rainfall totals were across the Florida Panhandle. We saw a little over 2 inches of rain at Pensacola Naval Air Station.
Skies will gradually clear overnight tonight.
It looks like sunshine will be back tomorrow with a comfortable temperature pattern. Daytime highs will be in the mid 70s with a breezy northerly wind.
Drier air is moving in and that means chillier nights are on the way. Our first chilly night will be Wednesday night with lows in the mid-40s. Our coldest night will be Friday night with lows in the upper 30s.
We could see our first round of patchy frost in areas north of I-10 early Saturday morning. Daytime highs will also be noticeably cooler, with highs in the low 60s by Friday and Saturday.
