Students and staff return to Feather River Adventist School 15 days after shooting that critically injured two students | News [Video]

Fifteen days after two kindergarten students were critically injured during a shooting at the Feather River Adventist School, students and staff returned to campus.

PALERMO, Calif. 9:50 P.M. UPDATE – For the first time in fifteen days, students and staff returned to the Feather River Adventist School in Palermo, where two boys were critically injured in a shooting on December 4.

Officials at the Feather River Adventist School say that the decision for students and staff to return to campus was inspired by the students who desired to go through the healing process together.

Action News Now spoke with Scott Kennelly, the Director of Butte County Behavioral Health, about why this day was so important.
