Student volunteer group to help beautify Downtown Chillicothe on Sunday | Entertainment [Video]

(CHILLICOTHE, Mo.) A group of 2024-25 student volunteers in Chillicothe, Mo. are planning to beautify the Downtown Arts District on Sunday, August 25, 2024. 

The Main Street Main-iacs will be painting the crosswalks in the Kelly Poling Arts District from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 25th, and the City is closing Locust Street from 1 to 8 p.m. in order to keep the volunteers safe. 

The Downtown Chillicothe Association is inviting community members to come and celebrate the Main-iacs after their event on Sunday with a Main-iacs on Main Induction Party from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. 

Downtown Chilli said there will be drinks, snacks, music, introductions, and networking as the community recognizes the student volunteers for their efforts to beautify the City.
