Amgen Scholar Stephen Ebaseh-Onofa (Johns Hopkins University, 2024) talks about his childhood aspirations to be a superhero and how that has now translated to his work in neuroscience and neurotechnology.
Since 2006, the Amgen Scholars Program has provided hands-on research opportunities under world-renowned faculty mentors to over 5,600 undergraduate students. The program is hosted at 25 premier educational and research institutions across the United States, Europe, Asia, Australia and Canada. Scholars benefit by conducting a research project under top faculty, participating in seminars and networking events and taking part in a symposium in their respective region. Financial support for students is a critical component of the program, which helps ensure that eligible students, regardless of income, can participate.
