Authorities say the bomb squad is currently on scene.
STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. — A suspicious package investigation is currently underway at a Stockbridge Bank of America, according to Stockbridge Police.
Police said the package was found outside the building around 8 a.m. on Wednesday.
Officers eventually called a bomb squad to the scene, who performed a controlled detonation on the package.
According to Stockbridge Police, North Henry Boulevard from Highway 138 to Ryans Drive is closed for now.
Authorities add that there are no injuries as a result of the incident.
