Stevie Wonder Announces Last-Minute Tour Ahead of Election Day [Video]

Stevie Wonder is on a mission.

On Thursday, Sept. 19, the legendary singer announced dates for the Sing Your Song! As We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart tour in effort to influence voters ahead of Election Day.

The 10-date arena tour is set to kick off on Oct. 8 in Pittsburgh, Penn. The singer, 74, will then perform at battleground states, calling for “joy over anger, kindness over recrimination, peace over war,” he said in a press release.

Wonder will perform in Maryland, North Carolina, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Tickets for the shows went on sale Friday, Sept. 20 on Ticketmaster.

Wonder named the upcoming tour off his recent single “Can We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart,” his first song in four years.
