Steve Martin Reacts to Viral Tim Walz Comparison [Video]

The second Kamala Harris announced Tim Walz as her VP pick, the internet knew one thing above all: The Minnesota governor looked exactly like Steve Martin.

Social media exploded on Tuesday, August 6, after Walz, 60, was officially announced as Harris’ running mate in the 2024 presidential election — taking on former president Donald Trump and his VP pick, JD Vance. Memes were flying, Taylor Swift fans were doing their due diligence (Walz is, in fact, a total Swiftie), and social media users were hoping beyond hope that Martin, 78, would be gearing up to portray Walz on the upcoming season of Saturday Night Live.

While Martin didn’t directly address those rumors — or rather, wishes — on Tuesday, he did ultimately comment on the viral comparison of him and Walz.
