Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal turned heads at Monday’s Ballon d’Or ceremony with a playful moment involving Hollywood star Natalie Portman.
The 17-year-old, who made history as the youngest player ever to win the Kopa Trophy, had a night to remember as he shared laughs with Portman, even sending a lighthearted jab at Real Madrid.
During the event in Paris, Yamal posed with Portman and Barcelona teammates Pau Cubarsi and Dani Olmo. At one point, Portman held up four fingers – a gesture that fans immediately saw as a reminder of Barcelona’s recent 4-0 El Clasico win over Madrid.
Social media buzzed with reactions to Portman’s playful gesture, with fans like @JeffFcb14 posting on X: “Padme scoring the 4th goal we scored against Madrid! Star Wars legend mocks Madrid.” Another wrote: “Cooking Madrid on and off the field – I love this.”
