St. Louis gets a new FBI Special Agent in Charge [Video]

ST. LOUIS — St. Louis will have a new leader in its FBI office.

Ashley T. Johnson has been named the new special agent in charge of the St. Louis Field Office by the FBI Director Christopher Wray. 

The FBI National Press Office wrote in a release Monday that Johnson most recently served with the International Operations Division at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C. She served as the section chief. 

Johnson has a long history with the FBI, law enforcement and social work from New Orleans, to Atlanta, and Washington, D.C. She has investigated civil rights and white-collar violations. She helped oversee national cyber investigations across five field offices, and she supervised the civil rights and law enforcement corruption squad. She has also worked in domestic terrorism, international terrorism, and counterintelligence investigations.
