St. Louis County road crews will be working non-stop through winter storm [Video]

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — More than 110 trucks will be out clearing the roads in St. Louis County through this weekend’s winter storm, but leaders say the safest place will be at home.

A coordinated response, preparation

“If you don’t have to leave your house, stay indoors,” County Executive Sam Page said in a press conference Saturday morning. “If you need to go to the store or the pharmacy, do it before nightfall.”

Page held the press conference with Director of Transportation and Public Works Stephanie Leon Streeter, Operations Manager Ryan Pierce and Emergency Management Director Michele Ryan to lay out what to expect in St. Louis County for the next few days.
