St. Charles launches new parking app in downtown St. Charles [Video]

ST CHARLES, Mo. — Parking in Downtown St. Charles is getting easier with the help of a new mobile app.

St. Charles County announced the new “Park STC” app ahead of some summer events sure to draw crowds downtown. The app shows the current occupancy for all the approximately 1,500 public parking spots in an approximately 30-block area of downtown. 

“On-street parking along Main is more of an estimate, since actual spaces are not marked,” Matt Seggerman, Project Manager for Roads and Traffic, said in a press release. “But you can get a fairly good read on if a green area is large enough for your specific vehicle, or at least be able to tell if it’s in a convenient area for you.”
