Spotlight On Maryland-Baltimore SquashWise Builds Community [Video]

This week on Spotlight On Maryland, Gina Crash was joined in studio by Abby Markoe, the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Baltimore SquashWise to talk about their mission, programs and how they are transforming dowtown Baltimore’s historic Greyhound Bus Terminal into their permanent home anticipated to open in mid-2025. The 6-court, 3-classroom facility will also serve as a community squash center. Abby shared information about how people can help support the project by becoming Founding Members.

Founded in 2007, SquashWise partners with Baltimore’s youth and families to advance equity in squash, education and personal development opportunities. They are a dedicated agent of change providing a place where students reach their academic, athletic and life goals and where the squash community becomes more accessible and welcoming for all.
