Spokane Valley Police Department increases street presence with new hires [Video]

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – The Spokane Valley Police Department is set to enhance its street presence following the hiring of 10 new deputies. This brings the department’s total to 101 dedicated officers.

According to The Spokesman-Review, The department is planning to allocate these new hires across various roles including patrol positions and three investigative deputies to bolster the department’s investigative capabilities.

In addition to these roles, the department is focusing on community-specific needs. They plan to appoint deputies to traffic and homeless service outreach.
