Spokane NAACP hosts second Annual Candidate Forum and Town Hall [Video]

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane NAACP Branch will host its second annual Candidate Forum and Town Hall on Tuesday, October 15.

The event will feature local candidates and is designed for voter education and engagement. According to the Spokane NAACP, the forum is not a debate, but a platform designed for community members to engage with the candidates and ask them preliminary questions about their policies and outlook if elected. 

The candidate forum will include Al French and Molly Marshall, who are running for Spokane County Commissioner. The Town Hall will feature Carmela Conroy, a candidate for the U.S. House to represent Washington’s 5th Congressional District, and Natasha Hill, a candidate for Washington House of Representatives District 3-Position 1. 

KREM2 anchor Channing Curtis will moderate the forum.
