SPOKANE, Wash. — A video of a Spokane man and a local waitress went viral on social media after he raised $800 in cash and $700 in gift cards to surprise the waitress with a holiday act of kindness.
Rick Clark posted a video of his gift to Amber, who works as a server at The Boiler Room in Spokane, on Facebook and TikTok. Clark says in the video that he saw a Facebook post from a local mom who took her children to Boiler Room and expressed gratitude for Amber’s patience with her and her children, one of which was having a “rough day.”
