RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Special Needs Community of Northern Nevada serves 1,800 families in the area who have members with physical and neurological challenges. They are preparing for their annual family holiday party. They are also in dire need of donations, food and sponsorships for their Angel Tree program.
Ria Farley, and her 8-year-old daughter, Kylie – who is a SNC junior ambassador; CEO and Founder, Maria Lopez; and Tiffany Story, committee volunteer, stopped by Morning Break to share how the community can step up and support local special needs families.
The first event takes place Sunday, Dec. 8 in Sparks. See flyer for details on the SNC North Pole Express or click here to access their website.
They are also hosting an Angel Tree this year where families can adopt kids and other families this holiday season to make sure they have what they need and want on Christmas. Click here to learn more.
