South Fork Salmon River Road temporarily closes for repairs [Video]

BOISE, Idaho — Two roads around the South Fork Salmon River will be closed in August while contractors perform improvements on the asphalt road surface. 

The Boise National Forest stated in their press release that The Boise National Forest portion of the road (Road 474), that begins at the junction with the Warm Lake Highway near Warm Lake, going north for 12 miles to the forest’s boundary with the Payette National Forest, will be closed August 5 – 8, all day.

They also stated The Payette National Forest portion of the road (Road 674) from its boundary with the Boise National Forest northward to its junction at the East Fork Road will be closed August 5 – 23.
