South Australian Police Commissioner considers Australia’s increased terror threat [Video]

South Australia‘s Police Commissioner Grant Stevens is set to brief the government on upcoming major events after Australia’s national threat level was lifted.

Following the announcement, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese stressed that “probable” does not mean “inevitable”.

A threat level of “probable”, under the current system, says there is a greater than 50 per cent chance of an onshore attack or attack planning in the next twelve months.

Stevens said police would brief the government on major events.

“We look at the intelligence in relation to any particular activities that might disrupt or potentially cause harm,” Stevens said.
